Join us for a day of rest, reconnection and rewilding in an idyllic private space near Llandegla in North Wales. 10am - 3pm

This day retreat is all about taking time to reconnect to nature, yourself and others. It will be an opportunity for you to try a range of activities that will immerse you in the elements, through the seasons. The activities will vary each session to include a range of different crafts and practices.

Each session includes nature immersion in some form. Sometimes there will be a guided walk to the woods, stopping to notice and talk about the trees, plants and fungi we find along the way. You will be guided through a mindfulness practice aimed to bring you into the present moment and connect you to the natural environment, with a big focus on having curiosity and awe in nature.

You will have the opportunity to invigorate yourself with a sauna and cold water immersion session, in a beautiful secluded natural dipping pool. Cold water therapy and use of the sauna have been shown to have a number of health benefits, including: Reducing inflammation, Improving circulation, Boosting the immune system, Reducing stress.

In addition to this, each session will include a nature craft such as whittling, weaving, fire making, making natural body products or wild medicines.

Snacks and drinks will be provided and on some of the sessions we will cook over the fire.

You will be informed of specific details for each event ahead of the day via email.

A minimum of 14 days notice before the original booking date is required to reschedule. If there are no suitable alternative dates you can either have a voucher to redeem anytime within 1 year, or a refund minus the booking fee of £5.

May 4th - Beltane

Join us in May as we celebrate May Day and welcome the beginning of Summer!

What to expect:

  • Sauna and cold water immersion in a beautiful secluded and private natural river pool. Contrast therapy has been shown not only to boost the mood and reduce stress levels but also to improve your immune system. It’s a wonderful way to start the day!

  • Gentle guided Yoga practise - Coming into your body with some gentle movement to get the blood flowing.

  • Nature immersion - guided walk with mindfulness and foraging. A chance for us to soak up the beautiful surroundings as we observe nature, stopping to talk about the plants and fungi along the way, exploring their uses and folklore. A guided meditation in the woods to help you land in the present moment and feel connected to the land.

  • Lovingly prepared snacks and refreshments including foraged elements 

  • Nature crafting activity using items we collected on our walk - a meditative and grounding activity using natural materials to craft something to take home.

There will be a range of refreshments available on the day but you will need to bring your own packed lunch for this event. 


June 14th - Solstice

Join us in June as we approach the Summer Solstice.

What to expect:

  • Sauna and cold water immersion in a beautiful secluded and private natural river pool. Contrast therapy has been shown not only to boost the mood and reduce stress levels but also to improve your immune system. It’s a wonderful way to start the day!

  • Nature immersion activity - mindful nature art. Take some time to notice the beauty of nature during this mindful activity, outside surrounded by flowers, insects and a gentle Summer breeze.

  • Foraging and fire cooking  - we will explore what the land has to offer at this time of the year, harvesting edible wild flowers and greens, making a wild pesto and wild pizza toppings before practising our fire lighting skills to cook the pizzas!

  • Sound Bath - End the day with a relaxing sound journey. Lay back and let Jenny bathe you in the healing sounds of gongs and singing bowls.

August 3rd - Lammas

Join us in August for Nettle day!

Immerse yourselve in learning all about one of the most abundant and nutritionally dense wild plants that the UK has to offer. We will explore various ways of working with nettle by making nettle cordage, eating delicious nettle snacks and a herbal tonic to take away! The nettle has so much to offer us, it deserves its own day!

What to expect:

  • Sauna and cold water immersion in a beautiful secluded and private natural river pool. Contrast therapy has been shown not only to boost the mood and reduce stress levels but also to improve your immune system. It’s a wonderful way to start the day!

  • Nature immersion - Mindful walk into the woods, foraging along the way. You will learn how to safely and sustainably harvest nettles for the nature crafting activity.

  • Nature crafting - Let’s get crafty with our nettle harvest! You will learn different ways to use this amazingly versatile plant.

  • Lovingly crafted snacks and drinks with a nettle theme!

There will be a range of refreshments available on the day but you will need to bring your own packed lunch for this event. 

September 21st - Mabon

Join us in September as we celebrate Mabon with gratitude practice and making hedgerow medicine!

  • Sauna and cold water immersion in a beautiful secluded and private natural river pool. Contrast therapy has been shown not only to boost the mood and reduce stress levels but also to improve your immune system. It’s a wonderful way to start the day!

  • Nature immersion - A guided mindful practise in the woods. We will stop to notice any fruits, nuts and fungi along the way and harvest what the hedgerow has to offer.

  • Nature crafting - Create your own delicious hedgerow medicine, and weave your own little bramble basket.

  • Lovingly made drink and snacks

There will be a range of refreshments available on the day but you will need to bring your own packed lunch for this event.
